Built by pilots, mechanics, and aircraft owners.
MX Ledger is privately owned and built by people who own, fly, and maintain the aircraft the platform is built for.
Our mission
Our mission is to give every pilot, mechanic, and aircraft owner quick, affordable access to an aircraft's maintenance history.
"No person may operate a civil aircraft unless it is in an airworthy condition. The pilot in command of a civil aircraft is responsible for determining whether that aircraft is in condition for safe flight."
— 14 CFR § 91.7
Access to an aircraft's maintenance history is essential to making informed airworthiness decisions. Aircraft logbooks represent a significant share of an aircraft's value, so owners protect the originals closely. That makes them hard to access when pilots, mechanics, and operators need them most.
MX Ledger transforms paper logbooks into secure, searchable, and shareable digital records. Owners keep their original logbooks while giving authorized pilots, mechanics, and operators access to the information they need. With MXL Bot, users can ask questions about an aircraft's maintenance history in plain English and receive answers backed by the underlying records.
Tested, auditable, and dependable software
We don't take shortcuts with aircraft maintenance data. Every MX Ledger release passes thousands of automated tests before it's deployed. Critical records are versioned and backed up to provide a complete audit trail of changes.
We deliberately choose stable technologies that will be around for decades. That foundation allows us to quickly adopt advances in AI while keeping your maintenance records secure, reliable, and accessible.
The team
Mike Dalrymple Founder
Mike co-founded Watchwith, an interactive video platform used by NBCUniversal, Fox, Disney, and other major networks, acquired by Comcast in 2016. He's spent over two decades as a hands-on engineering leader, taking products from initial concept through deployment and operations.
As a pilot and aircraft owner, Mike brings firsthand domain expertise to MX Ledger's design and development. He works closely with partners and customers to make sure MX Ledger meets their needs.
Courtland Savage Co-owner
Courtland Savage is a professional airline pilot with experience spanning military, commercial, and general aviation. He served in the U.S. Air Force Reserve as a C-17 Globemaster maintenance crew chief, where he gained firsthand experience with the importance of accurate aircraft maintenance records and the role they play in safe flight operations.
As a co-owner of MX Ledger, Courtland works alongside the company's founder to help grow the business and support the development of a modern platform for managing aircraft maintenance records. His background as both a maintenance professional and a pilot provides valuable insight into the needs of aircraft owners, mechanics, pilots, and operators.
